Daily Cyber News: Poisoned LiteLLM release steals cloud and AI credentials

Our third story concerns systems that ran LiteLLM 1.107.0. Cloud, AI, and developer credentials on those systems may be compromised after attackers inserted a credential stealer and remote-access backdoor into the release. It was distributed through Python and Docker registries before being removed.

Key context: The malware targeted browser data, cloud credentials, AI provider keys, S S H keys, and other secrets.

Additional detail: LiteLLM often sits close to valuable application and infrastructure credentials, so one poisoned package can cross several trust domains.
