Florida drivers may face identity theft and targeted fraud if an extortion gang’s breach claim is confirmed. ShinyHunters claims it stole more than two hundred thousand records from Florida’s Driver and Vehicle Information Database. As evidence, the gang published a screenshot showing a record with an address, Social Security number, birth date, driver’s license details, and registered vehicles.
